The Australian Voices in Concert is an exploration of the breadth and history of Australian music.

This concert will feature works from the whole Australian choral canon, from Nigel Butterley’s 1961 Exultate Domino to works written specifically for this Tasmanian tour. From the earthy and spiritual sounds of Sarah Hopkins’ Past Life Melodies to the vibrant joy of Matthew Orlovich’s Tides of Ocean and the unmistakably Australian sounds of William Barton’s Kalkadunga Yurdu.

Included in this concert will be a collaboration between The Australian Voices and the City of Launceston choir Vox Harmony in a distinctive combined performance.
